Delete Your Account

How to remove your WDW Planner account and your data.

The short version

  • You can delete your account from inside the app in a few taps.
  • Deleting removes your profile, preferences, favorites, wish list, and crawls.
  • If you cannot open the app, email hi@bing-studios.com and we will do it for you.
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open WDW Planner and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Open your Profile.
  4. Choose Delete Account.
  5. Confirm when prompted. Your account is removed right away.

If you have been signed in for a long time, you may be asked to sign out and sign back in before the deletion can complete. This is a security step required by our authentication provider.

Delete your account by email

If you cannot access the app, email us at hi@bing-studios.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

  • Your sign in record, including your email address and name
  • Your profile photo
  • Your taste preferences, including cuisines, drinks, and dietary choices
  • Your favorites and wish list
  • Your saved food crawls
  • Your in app notification history

What is kept, and for how long

A small amount of information is kept after deletion because we are required to keep it or because it is no longer linked to you:

  • Purchase and subscription records. If you subscribed to WDW Plus, the record of that transaction is held by Google Play or Apple, not by us, and is retained under their policies and applicable tax and accounting law. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your Google Play or Apple account settings.
  • Anonymous usage statistics. Aggregate counts such as how many people opened a screen contain no account identifiers and cannot be traced back to you, so they are retained.
  • Support messages. If you have emailed us, that correspondence is kept for up to 12 months so we have a record of the request.
  • Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those backups roll over.
